Sloane Group: Leading the Way

Sloane Group offers the most professional and flexible organizational environment, tailored to our consulting requirements and the delivery of our executive education solutions available to our clients.

Sloane Group is composed of 3 functions, horizontally organized: the Business Development Unit, the Consulting Unit and the Support Unit. Synergies between these 2 existing units are cultivated and reinforced by customer care requirements and operational management. The Support Unit handles most stakeholder relationships and is effectively responsible for activity reporting.

In 2007, during the initial set up phase, under Julien Machot's leadership, the Management opted for a straight-forward, goal-oriented structure. Simple processes allow for immediate, responsive action. Doubled by controlling processes and reporting milestones, the Management keeps track of progress on a daily basis while projecting for new developments and projects in a climate of high security and certainty. Our success may first be attributed to our internal organization and the professionalism of its members, implicated in improving our operations.

Acting as Executive Director since its inception in 2007, Julien Machot has established a friendly network composed of corporate and academic clients and partners of Sloane Group. By remaining a sizable and pro-active boutique consulting firm, Sloane Group manages to take on short-term challenges, supporting its clients' requirements and solving their business problems. Julien Machot, who is currently serving as Director of Business Development for MBA Center and Top Finance in Europe (offices in France, Germany, United Kingdom and Switzerland), forecast that Sloane Group will continue to grow sustainably for the next 3 to 5 years, doubling its revenues since 2007 and securing larger contracts. He senses that "the business world is now accepting boutique consulting firms for what they truly are", a pathway to direct, efficient delivery of consulting services without "the headaches, the high price and the superior attitude" of the Big Three (Bain, McKinsey and Boston Consulting Group).
